As we head in to the final hour of the kickstarter campaign I would like to thank those whom have pledged their hard earned.
The Kickstarter whilst not raising the funds hoped has exposed the group to a wider audience and has hopefully sparked others to get out in to the aviation preservation collective.
We take a step back and search for other options and have a review of the DPG and its future direction.
Thank you again.

It's with great excitement that we have launched a crowd funding page on kick starter with the aim of raising funds to purchase Dove 8 C/N: 04533 ZK-DHW.
DHW is currently in storage but is complete including engines and avionics, we believe this will be an excellent candidate for an airworthy restoration.
more details can be found at the link below.
Regards, Daniel Sherburn

I have been cleaning both Doves up and are currently on the look out for Wing bolts, I will add photo soon.
Also there is a potential project soon so I hope to go public within the next month with details.

Dear Dove/Devon Enthusiasts,
I am a children's author and thought you might be interested that a Devon features in my recently-published children's book, "Trouble in Teutonia". The story is a retro-style adventure and is set in 1957 during the Cold War in a country not unlike Germany. As well as Photo Reconnaissance Meteors, a DH Devon plays a major role in the story. I don't know if this is a first for childr...Read Full Post »
