ZK-DHW crowd funding project

Posted by [email protected] on July 11, 2015 at 5:35 PM Comments comments (2)

Hi All,

It's with great excitement that we have launched a crowd funding page on kick starter with the aim of raising funds to purchase Dove 8 C/N: 04533 ZK-DHW.

DHW is currently in storage but is complete including engines and avionics, we believe this will be an excellent candidate for an airworthy restoration.

more details can be found at the link below.

Hi All,

I realized it has been a while since I have put an update on the website. I keep facebook up to date so stay in touch through there.

I have been cleaning both Doves up and are currently on the look out for Wing bolts, I will add photo soon.

Also there is a potential project soon so I hope to go public within the next month with details.

Hi People,

Received this message over the weekend.

Regards D.P.G

Name : Martin Whale

Email Address : [email protected]

Message : Hi Guys

I have been in the Dove business for the past 20 years, have 4 a/c myself and the largest collection of genuine spares for airframe, engine and props in the world. ( Over 1 million parts )

Its not my main business so responses may be a bit slow. If you can provide part numbers its easier to say if I have stock.

I also have pdf copies of the manuals or can make them as I have a complete set.

All spares are in the UK

DH.104 in Childrens Book

Hi People,

We received this message of interest.

Dear Dove/Devon Enthusiasts,

I am a children's author and thought you might be interested that a Devon features in my recently-published children's book, "Trouble in Teutonia". The story is a retro-style adventure and is set in 1957 during the Cold War in a country not unlike Germany. As well as Photo Reconnaissance Meteors, a DH Devon plays a major role in the story. I don't know if this is a first for children's fiction! My "technical advisor" was an old friend of my dad's, Brian Ashley, who flew both Meteors and Devons. You might be interested in the book's website http://www.troubleinteutonia.com/planes_and_cars.html

The book was launched at Brooklands Museum in April and I'd be very happy to let you have any more information about it.

All the best, S.P.Moss
